34 stadiums across the USA have been asked to submit a bid to host games at the 2026 World Cup.
  • US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis is on the list, but has very little chance of succeeding because the footprint of the floor of the stadium is not regulation size for FIFA. They would need an exemption to qualify. They would also need to bring in real grass as the stadium has fake turf.

AMERICANS ABROAD

18 year old Westin MeKennie got his first start for Schalke on Monday in the Pokal. They won 0-2 at Berliner Dynamo. He made his pro debut last Spring but this was his first start. He played 55 minutes in central midfield.
